Frequently Asked Questions

Bots

  • Bot Avatar Appears Blurry or Stretched

    What to do:

    • Check the aspect ratio: Ensure your image is a perfect square to prevent the interface from stretching or distorting the visual.
    • Improve the resolution: Avoid using low-resolution files; instead, use a high-quality PNG or JPG (ideally 512x512px).
  • Bot Appearing as Disabled

    What to do:

    • Understand Draft Mode: Every new bot starts as a Draft. This means it stays « silent » and won’t respond to anyone until you officially launch it.
    • Go to Activation: Open your bot settings and head straight to the Activation tab.
    • Activate your Bot: Switch the status to Active to take your bot out of draft mode.
    • Start Chatting: Once activated, your AI assistant is live and ready to interact with your users immediately.
  • Changes Not Appearing

The dashboard does not always « auto-save » every visual change you make to the bot’s identity or behavior.

    What to do:

    • Make it a habit: Always click the Save button after any modification to ensure your changes are applied and stored successfully.
    • Avoid lost work: Do not leave the page or refresh your browser before clicking Save, or your work on the persona and appearance will be lost.

Flows

  • New Flow Not Working

    What to do:

    • Draft Status: When you build or edit a Flow, your changes are kept in a Draft state by default so the updates are not pushed to the « Live » version of the bot.
    • Activate the Flow: Navigate to the Flows section in your dashboard and edit the specific Flow in order to activate it
  • Bot Triggering the Wrong Flow

    What to do:

    • Review your Intents: Open your Flow interface and check the Training Phrases you have provided for each intent.
    • Differentiate your phrases: If two different intents, like « Pricing » and « Subscription, » use the same phrases (e.g. « How much? »), the bot will get confused.
    • Edit your Training Phrases to be unique to each specific goal so the bot can clearly understand the user’s « intention ».
    • Add variety: Enter various ways a user might ask for information to help the bot recognize the goal even if the exact words differ.

Handover

  • Missing Email Notifications for Handover Requests

    What to do:

    • Check your Workspace settings: Head to the Communication section and ensure you have provided a valid destination email address so the system knows where to send the alerts.
    • Pick your channel: Make sure the Email Notifications toggle is switched ON in your bot settings to choose how the system interacts with you behind the scenes.
    • Activate the Flow: Go to Behaviors > Core Behaviors and ensure the Handover Flow is specifically toggled to Active.
